I’M BACK! While I wait for my rolls of film to get developed, I’m gonna share the afternoon we spent at Siam Ocean World in the meantime. It’s probably one of the few highlights of the holiday. Nothing can quite compete with underwater life; they’re strange/beautiful creatures.
Those are giant sucker fishes by the way!
G’weekend guys!!

Caught Inception, late lunch at Oriole — beef cheek tagliatelle and a flat white for me. Headed to the Singapore Garden Festival and was disappointed that visitors couldn’t walk under canopies and alongside flowers, we could only go around exhibits trying to peek into the heart of it. Left and bought something I don’t need from Muji, like always. On our way out of the mall we figured the fireworks (NDP rehearsal) were gonna start anytime soon so we stuck around to catch it. Nice long bus ride home, we sat on a double decker so I spied on every house with a pool. Couldn’t sleep, watched some Letterman, still couldn’t sleep so I packed the work room, my section of it.
I don’t have photos of everything I mentioned, just some.

Howdy! I was supposed to blog about these new stickers on Monday. Monday became Wednesday and I’m behind on reading all your blogs as well, urgh! How is everyone?
About the stickers, I’m so in love with the illustrations and the clothes on the girls and their demeanour. I don’t think I’ve ever looked at an illustration and think “oh god, I want to be her”.
The illustrations are by Heeda but I came up with no leads on google. Wherever you are, Heeda, I love your girls and I’m gonna stick them onto every piece of mail I send out!
In other things, I finally collected my 35mm f1.8 lens from the post office today! I took these photos with my new lens.
Also I have a guest post up on my friend, Nabbycat’s blog! Do hop on over, I made a sweet little collage of melly-things and am hoping to lure interesting things out of people on the internet!
(I can’t believe it but I actually think I missed blogging, wow yipes.)

Monkeys! Monday, we spotted a family of monkeys (two males, one female and a little one) and followed them as they made their way into Telok Blangah Hill Park. It all happened so fast because these monkeys walk so quickly tho they stop every now and then to sorta, regroup and rest. I’ve had encounters with monkeys when I lived at my old house and the bus stop’s right beside the park so sometimes I’d see monkeys rummaging through the bin for food. But this was major-awesome because the monkeys were aware of us and would turn back to look at us and gave us eye contact – which scared me a little, honestly.
Bravo me, for not focusing on monkeyman
We gave in and stopped once the itch from all the mosquito bites became too much to bear. Also, HortPark‘s pretty cool. I really wanted to walk through Kent Ridge Park but it was getting too dark and creepy. Maybe this weekend.

This sentence keeps coming out wrong, first I typed – I don’t like people in my photos. Backspace backspace backspace, then I typed – I don’t like shooting people. Haha, I think you know what I’m trying to say! So because I clearly am lacking in the ‘people’ department, it’s just so perfectly nice that my boyfriend, Ben, is quite the opposite.
These are some photos he took out in Chek Jawa/Pulau Ubin!
So I have to leave the house in 5 minutes, some friends and I are gonna run a race, I’m a nervous wreck mainly cos I don’t know what to expect. But wish me luck and no broken anythings!
