I suck. I said I’d post more but a million things need attending to and so zee blog suffers! My toilets were flooded – the pipe was clogged, we’re half done with our Halloween costumes (hooray!!!), Indie is going to the vet tomorrow, I never have the right clothes for business meetings and this last one concerns you readers because there’s going to be a giveaway happening soon!
At sunset
Early morning
Some photos from the last 110 roll, these were taken at West Coast Park.
And off I go again!

This roll of 110 film was full of cats, both stray and ours. They are mostly night shots and so if you’re allergic to flash, you might want to click away! I’m so low on sleep and food but I’m going to walk to the supermarket to get a bunch of coriander. I think it would bring what I intend to cook for dinner, from just okay to maybe quite delicious. Okay I will.
Indie, at our old place
Fatboy
We let the cats out now but I’m such a worry wart and my friend made fun of that.
This is Panther, she hangs around the market and carpark and she likes playing dead a lot of the time. She doesn’t want to be friends with me though, I’ve been trying to charm her but she’s having none of it.

Disappointment.
7 out of 24 shots turned out, out of which only these were decent. These were taken using my Kodak Ektralite 10 with Agfa 110 film.
I just had to snap a photo of the negatives, this being my first time playing with 110 film. How tiny how cute how blank!!

Top: Coloursplash, Oktomat, Fisheye
Bottom: Talking Polaroid, Split-cam, Smena 8M, Kodak Ektralite 10, Lavec LT-002
These are all the film cameras i’ve amassed for some years now. Maybe amass isn’t appropriate to use since eight doesn’t count for a mass, does it? I avoided the word ‘collected’ because i’m not a collector of cameras. Each of them pretty much find their way into my hands without good reason. The ones i really want are too much money to pay for. So anyway the top row are the first few i started with. They are what i would call “the superficial fun” ones because they’re quite hollow character-wise. For me, that is. Pretty one-note in terms of photo-taking experience and the end result. What i hope for when i shoot with film is absolutely nothing. (It is quite an oxymoron isn’t it.) And shooting with the Coloursplash/Fisheye/Oktomat doesn’t give me that hopelessness.
The two cameras on the bottom right are the ones i recently won on ebay. No one bid on them which makes me feel a little adventurous about them. I only managed to find some examples here and here and here and here. The narrow Kodak uses 110 film, something i’ve never used before. Before i even get excited about taking photos with them, i have to see if they actually work… They might turn out to be trash but let’s hope not. A real case of hopelessness! Anyway since i’m talking about film cameras, i’m gonna take this chance to ask for recommendations or if you’ve used either of my new cameras – how do you like it or not? My rate of exposure to new cameras move at snail pace and i’d like to change that. I’m open to any camera and any story or you can shoot me. (Was that too bad a joke?)
