We stayed at Nicky’s Handlebar Hotel this time while in Phuket. We loved the room, the pool and the service. There’s a very consistent motorcycle theme throughout the place which thankfully didn’t feel tacky. I had reservations before booking our room, believe me!
Anyway I’m super keen on visiting Phi Phi island, maybe next year. Has anyone been there? I would love to hear recommendations!

It was quite breathtaking, this place. Promthep Cape in Phuket, Thailand. People on the Internet say you should come here to watch the sunset but we were way to excited to get on our scooter and ride down South. So this is Promthep Cape at about 2PM!

Isn’t this pretty neat? If anyone remembers my endeavour to learn to skate last year… well, I’m reporting back to say I sucked, royally sucked. I couldn’t get past learning to ollie which is skateboarding 101. This will be one of those things I stand from afar and admire others who can and do, along with people who play the guitar, people who are in a band and mm, ballerinas and gymnasts.

Accidental double exposure on the first photo there. I took these photos around Tiong Bahru and if you’ve been to Tiong Bahru bakery, you will recognize it in the last two photos. Been cafe hopping a bit the past week and a real standout was Henry Congressional (thank you Rachel!). I’ve also been hanging out at my mom’s house (housesitting) and got to cook a bit. I got to try some recipes I’ve bookmarked since forever, yay! Mmm, I made chicken cutlets, grilled cheese sandwich and avocado egg salad.
Apart from this, all my waking hours are spent either working or watching the Olympics or experimenting on new stuff for etsy, hopefully soon! And I took time out from all this to meet Jackie last week, I took some photos and I can’t wait to finish the roll and get it developed.
