The doors are open, the wind is really blowing
We stayed at Nicky’s Handlebar Hotel this time while in Phuket. We loved the room, the pool and the service. There’s a very consistent motorcycle theme throughout the place which thankfully didn’t feel tacky. I had reservations before booking our room, believe me!
Anyway I’m super keen on visiting Phi Phi island, maybe next year. Has anyone been there? I would love to hear recommendations!

I’ve never been to PhiPhi but I’ve met a whole bunch of travelers who came from there while I was in Krabi. What I’ve gathered, in essence, is that the partying in Phi Phi is great during high season – but on the other end, it’s really crowded and overpriced compared to neighbouring islands (Koh Lanta, Krabi etc). If you go, try the island tour (usually mosquito & bamboo island and maya bay) – though I’d recommend you go either really early or later in the day so you miss the crowds. How exciting!
