The progression of light streaming in from early dawn to noon in my kitchen. At noon, I made shrimp curry for lunch based on this recipe but changed a few ingredients. It tasted pretty amazing considering how easy and quick it was to make!
I’m gonna type out my version in the comments so check there if you want to give this curry a try.

Some weeks back, Ben & I rode our bicycles to Pandan Reservoir. Not too far from where we live.
Turns out there wasn’t much to see but it was strangely amusing when the path to walk/cycle on isn’t tarmac but gravel – you can tell from the last picture. (In our little city, every road is paved to perfection!) And the one thing I always catch myself complaining about when I photograph scenery is that there’s always something at the edge of the horizon. Ships, factories, shipyards, some kind of tall lanky tower that isn’t a lighthouse. So any time that I’m in another country, I tend to marvel at the abundant space and the never-ending nothingness!

Lots of faces and names coming up! These are the only film photos I have left to share for awhile. It’s been storming here for close to a week now and the sky’s as dark as in Independence Day.
Nabs, Sherms, Valencia, Yiqin
Sarah and yikes, but I forgot the others’ names! sorry ladies!
Picnic #3 was a surprise birthday thing for my dear friend, Caili. We basically set up five mats and sat there till she wandered along and noticed us. Prior plans of getting her in the park had to be made too of course.
Caili! and Celeste (the party planner!)
Yajun, Caili, Celeste and Popo
Ben, Michael and Yajun & his towel, heehee
Off to lunch with crazy thunder over our heads!

In March, I went to a total of three picnics but got mad drunk at one. So is the one where we surprised a birthday girl, drank too much and ended up rolling on the grass by the lake. But we timed it well, the sun was setting pretty quickly.

I can’t remember who took the last two photos, it’s weird there are light leaks cos this camera never lets that happen. Strange, cues The X-Files theme song.
Has anyone ordered and gotten hold of the iPad yet, how’s it integrating into your life? My boyfriend’s anticipating his like crazy and telling me all these things about it so I wanna know if you have it! Then I can have stories too, it’s been a one-way conversation that ends with eyeballs rolling thus far heh.
