Alas, my prints are ready for sale! And before i put them in my etsy store, i’m want to do a giveaway contest!

This week’s “It’s Been One Week” will be about you. Tell me what is the best thing that happened to you all week! Leave a comment below and i will randomly pick one winner in the next few days. The lucky person will find a set of these prints in your mailbox, anywhere you are in the world, i will be most happy to mail them to you.
A little about the prints: The top left one is titled Susie Salmon, followed by Joe Fox, Cat Stevens and Peter Rabbit. Since i worked on these, the idea behind it seems so obvious but that’s just me being annoying. (Hint: the italicized words) Each print features a fictional character or real-life person and why them? Because they have an animal as part of their name. So you put two and two together and viola! I hand-carved each animal stamp and handprinted each piece. Each print is 5×7″ and i hope you like them.

These are from Zipia, they’re my favourite for tights&such. It being two-toned made me feel a little kooky. And i pretty much walk around in these boots, i’m tired of my other shoes for the time being. Took a walk downtown tonight and checked out the Christmas lights while at it. Lacking carols i must say, to get into the mood. We plan on buying a 5′ tree and not hang any ornaments so the cats won’t have their fun! We’ll see, Paragon has veryveryvery delightful ornaments this time, check out the Peacock Fantasy one if you’re there. One peacock for $13.90 is so unfriendly. So my tree can only have one then.

Can i just express how pleased i am with this roll? Over the moon and under the stars i am!

This is the hunched-back uncle at Maxwell Market who runs this incredible Ham Jing Pang stall. (It’s a kind of snack made from flour). Plus you have a turn at frying your own, so that’s my boyfriend frying our share.

Autographed Camera Obscura flyer + ticket on the left (managed to score a baby blue frame at the thrift store to match!), a kiddo’s drawing of Bennyho, myself and my brother – drawn at Kensington Market, Toronto.

From here on down, are photos from my short trip to Port Dickson + Melaka.

Anyhoo, one quick thing. I finally caught on with Twitter and i have my Twitter tweets on the side bar. Add me so i have more stuff to read, i have countable friends right now! I usually Twitt a few times a day, so even if i don’t update here, you can read the nonsense i have to say on the side bar or on Twitter itself. I want to say have a good weekend but it’s only Toosday, i’m in sucha swell mood can you tell?

I tagged along with my mom + sis for a work trip over the weekend. The journey to and fro combined is 16 hours in a minibus. Very nauseating and butt-numbing. Well i took photos with fun film and i’m only heading out to send them for developing. Wish me luck and i will put them up tomorrow!

After uploading this photo onto Flickr, I realise how sullen i look here. I’m usually able to use a cheerier one but none of the eleven shots looked ‘happyshinyperson’. Maybe it’s the indoor lighting. Maybe it’s the weather.
Cardigan & boots are vintage from ebay, dress from Beacon’s Closet, tights from Zipia and bag from Mulberry.
