I’ve fallen in love with that cat. Ben named her B-cat for short, which stands for bicycle cat because she sleeps in a basket on a bicycle at the carpark. She is such a lovely thing, her fur is so smooth for a stray and she lets me stroke her rub her belly and she never says stop. She reminds me how much Fatboy takes me for granted.
I have been kinda busy with work. And tonight I figured that it’s really because I do things so damn slowly. The brainstorming part. I don’t even know if I’m brainstorming! Or just trying really hard to focus and think. I’m one of those wait-for-it-to-come-to-me people. Trying to grow out of it. Have to grow out of it. Nothing happens for wait-for-it-to-come-to-me people. Mmmmummbling… I am off to bed, good night friends.
Beans, beef fajitas, guac, salsa, fillings, everything – I almost lost my mind before the party started!
(Shal, were you posing for the camera here? WIN face!)
Sarah!
Mel and her, tongue!
Tower of rainbow madness was made by dearest ovenhaven!
And the game of charades begin! First we split into two groups and come up with the words.
Sherms making a face despite being on the winning team??!!
At the end of Charades, we all find out how nonchalantly good Miss Nabbycat is at guessing. Lady in the blue dress, that is. She, like, guesses EVERYTHING! Even the ridiculous ones, she gets them.
And if all these photos aren’t enough, haha, you can check out this video that Sarah made of the party. Actually, please check it out because it’s so so good! She called me one night to tell me it was up on her blog and I was all, grumpy doing my work, grunting at her. Next minute, I called her back squealinggggg!
Random but it’s my mom’s birthday today!
{Thank you Caili for photos! I stole some from you, Celeste! And boobyhug, Sarah for the video!}
I know the picture’s a little small to see the details so do click on it to see the larger version!
I’m still a tad high from the spontaneous energy a bunch of us had while working on this mini collaboration. It spanned two days? We tweeted, we decided, we did it. Basically four of us, Chups, Sel, Ser and myself (we were schoolmates back in design school) got wind of Crafty 2010 happening in October. We want to go but whined about the ticket prices for a bit. The super people behind the conference held a short “game day” to obtain discount codes so we thought, “let’s take advantage of that”! The task was to do whatever using the words ‘crafty’.
So yeah, each of us took an alphabet (some of us two) and put our own spin on it. No discussions of the direction we were each going for and I don’t know, somehow, I guess we all think differently no matter how similar we might be? WHICH IS AWESOME!
I could ramble on forever, it was just so fun altho a little frantic because I do things so slowly! Anyway do check out the Crafty 2010 website, you like-minded folks. I’m personally very stoked that something like this is gonna happen.
{Chups made C, Ser made R, Sel made A & F, I made T & Y}
