My boyfriend & i were at Ikea earlier on and this time, he tried to actively participate in choosing new bedsheets – which made me very pleased! Yeah but my whole bedsheet-world came crashing down when the one he picks ran out of stock. And when i point out an alternative choice, he says something like “buttt it’s purple and green..”. “Aha! Lookey at me, i’m wearing purple and green!?!”. Nice one, H!
I’m happy i’ve got something to write about today, my posts have been intermittent because i just don’t do anything remotely intriguing to share. Well today is different – I decided i wanted to dress ladylike for dimsum this morning so i reached for this collar and it completed my outfit or so i like to think.
Didn’t manage to get a full body shot as my eyes were all red and irritated by my contacts and the gusty wind. Anyway i won a lot of three collars for almost nothing on ebay and i’ve been finding ways to use them. I don’t have many dresses with a high neckline so now i have reason to look out for more! Plus i’m obsessed with collars right now. Vintage ones like this or big weird collars on dresses. All my favourites on etsy have some collar action going on, not so lucky with ebay… but the postman came earlier to deliver the cameras i won on ebay! Very happy and that folks, will be in another post altogether, when i’m awake enough to snap a proper photo of the cameras.
I say that because my boyfriend keeps stroking my collar and calls it a carpety thingy. It is velvet!

The other time i wore this dress (on Christmas Day), i pulled on black knee high socks and black patent ballet flats. I tried to do somewhat the same thing today except i swapped the black socks for purple tights and i felt so weird+wrong in it. Everyday i’m feeling more unsure of how i want to dress myself. Let’s hope this figures itself out, it’s as if my body parts aren’t cooperating with my eyes and my brain and such.

I hope everyone has some reason to be jolly this holidays. I miss my brother and my mom so much although i didn’t tell them that. I have to get ready for Christmas dinner right now. The place we originally planned to eat at jacked up their prices to $168 per stomach which is brow-raising when that was what it cost for two stomaches last year!

i’ve been wearing more black than usual, although my socks are blue there… and i bought black socks today. you would laugh if i say that the headache i’ve been having the past few days might have been caused by the stress i was under to search for a gift for a friend under $40. this secret santa thingamajig my brilliant friend decided to do – so four of us be secret santas to each other. two of them made it sound like it’s legit, but that was the first time i heard of it sung out loud like it’s a nursery rhyme i oughta know! so yes, being secret santa gave me migraines. i’m uptight like that, always freaking out nervous worried.
so! i’m free from panicking because i found zee present! and i’m delirious and i just want to tell what it is already.
well i can’t of course.
