Lots of faces and names coming up! These are the only film photos I have left to share for awhile. It’s been storming here for close to a week now and the sky’s as dark as in Independence Day.

Nabs, Sherms, Valencia, Yiqin

Sarah and yikes, but I forgot the others’ names! sorry ladies!

Picnic #3 was a surprise birthday thing for my dear friend, Caili. We basically set up five mats and sat there till she wandered along and noticed us. Prior plans of getting her in the park had to be made too of course.

Caili! and Celeste (the party planner!)

Yajun, Caili, Celeste and Popo

Off to lunch with crazy thunder over our heads!

In March, I went to a total of three picnics but got mad drunk at one. So is the one where we surprised a birthday girl, drank too much and ended up rolling on the grass by the lake. But we timed it well, the sun was setting pretty quickly.

The birthday girl, Shal

Twigsisters – Sherms and Christine

I can’t remember who took the last two photos, it’s weird there are light leaks cos this camera never lets that happen. Strange, cues The X-Files theme song.
Has anyone ordered and gotten hold of the iPad yet, how’s it integrating into your life? My boyfriend’s anticipating his like crazy and telling me all these things about it so I wanna know if you have it! Then I can have stories too, it’s been a one-way conversation that ends with eyeballs rolling thus far heh.

Here’s making up for the lack of everything on this blog, y’know in these festive times!

Fatboy awaiting the arrival of our friends

Celeste, Yajun, Caili, Popo, Ben & myself

Popo made her famooos tiramisu

We started drinking early

Played Charades while waiting for the stroke of midnight

We played with sparklers and poppers at midnight, then a bottle of beer smashed in the kitchen and then we went on to spend many hours watching weird funny horrible Japanese videos on youtube. Drank some more and was I the only drunk one at the table?
We missed you Whiteboy!
{Some photos were taken by Caili but it’s hard to say which ones exactly!]

I tweeted about this bag y’day but was waiting for a photo without them watermarks. Woke up to this lovely one of Alexa with her Alexa Mulberry – an updated version of the Bayswater! Complete with a strap and double buckles on the front. Ahhhhhhh, how perfect is it?

I recently finished reading this book, A Freewheelin’ Time by Suze Rotolo. The book is mainly about the folk music scene in Greenwich Village during the 1960s. And young Bob Dylan. They were dating, Suze & Bob. In it had plenty of pictures i’ve never seen of Bob Dylan before so i took the time to scan them. Then i got around to watching I’m Not There. I think i’ll be reading autobiographies and memoirs this 2009, i’ve finished four so far. Funny thing is that, for all the memoirs i’ve read – i can conclude at the end of the book that this famous person is human afterall. Can’t say the same for Bob Dylan tho, nothing about him is human or ordinary.

What a fine fine looking man!
