Zee strawberry dress

I interrupt posting of Bali photos with an outfit post. I’m way overdue on this and i feel so bad but the previous shots i had just didn’t encapsulate how awesome this dress makes me feel. (Think grumpy face, indoor shots)

Modcloth was very kind to let me pick out a few items and this ‘strawberry’ dress is one of it. I call it strawberry because the print reminds me of them. And i love how fitted the bodice is (or perhaps i’m just top heavy!). So I took the dress along with me to Bali and made sure i got photos!

I apologise for the lack of footwear, i was running around in Havaianas anyway.

Thanks Lindsay, thanks Modcloth!

    Hey Smeowly,
    Not raspberries? Tee hee hee.
It sits really well on you.
Maybe you should go buy loads of funky fabric and have it copied.
I would if I find a dress that fits that good. x

    Hey Melly
Modcloth is superb – just checked it out
Do you purchase from them? I am afraid to order as I don’t know the shipping or custom rates…
    Any idea?

    :-)

    likkle girl: that’s an idea!

Jen: hey, i haven’t purchased from them before. but from my online shopping experience, you can find out the shipping charges by adding your items into the cart and checking out. well most of the time, online merchants charge pretty high for international shipping so i always fall back on vpost. vpost is S$12+ for the base charge and then you have to pay according to the weight of your items. i bought shoes and shipped via vpost once and it cost me S$30+, much lesser than what it’d cost me to ship directly from the merchant. and we don’t have to pay taxes unless your shopping exceeds S$500 i think.

gracie: Modcloth was sending clothes to a few other bloggers like The Clothes Horse and Aya of Strawberry Koi… and Miss Aya happened to tag me for one of those questionaire things. I’m guessing that’s how my blog got noticed.

Yes the sizing for this dress was accurate to the size chart, fits like a dream really. I’m sorry to hear that tho, did you manage to reach them to let them know your thoughts? I saw something going on on Twitter.

Hey gracie, I’m not really good with camera recommendations because i don’t read about them much. But I’ve heard wonderful things about the LX3, i’ve seen really good photos from that camera too – my only gripe is that it only shoots in wide angle, and i personally don’t like all my photos taken using wide angle lens. I wouldn’t consider fujifilm… i’m just a boring Nikon or Canon person! Canon powershots & ixus takes good decent photos, i’ve used them all my life till now, am using a Nikon D40.

You could consider Ricoh, a good friend of mine uses one and her photos are stunning. I believe she’s using the R8 http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/RicohR8/

hey there, am considering powershot too.. yeah. im kinda concern about the wide angle lens too. cant ajust the lens to normal at times right. hmm, shld go take a look at ricoh and more powershot cameras then. thanks melly!
