Pump it up!
It’s been awhile since i’ve worn my jeans and tonight we hung out over dinner! I threw on my ‘gas station’ top and my new sandals which arrived in the mail today, rode my bicycle and had curry.

Blouse: Beacon’s Closet
Jeans & belt: Topshop
Sandals: Saltwater Sandals
Pardon my facial expressions, i tend to talk while getting photographed which results in many bad/warped pictures.

i love your bicycle! it’s so nice and silver and shiny haha. was it expensive? i realise i might have tops that may fall into the “gas station” category lol
I really wish I have a bicycle too!
But cycling in Singapore is kind of dangerous I feel. We should have cycle lanes!
Your bike looks really comfy! I hate mountain bikes sometimes because I have to tilt forward, which results in a sore back after a while.
shitttt, you have them saltwater sandals! argh…i’ve been wanting a red pair since last year (saw them on wikstenmade).
you got them in the states, yes? the sandal’s official websites don’t ship to sg, and the ones on ebay has their shipping costs too high.
I’M FREAKING JEALOUS! damn it…..hahah
eh, ok i didn’t read the whole post before i submitted my comment. hahah see how excited i got?
you got them on ebay, eh? expensive shipping, no? sigh.
jo: hey, erm no the bicycle’s really cheap. I got it for a little over $100, from those neighbourhood bike shops. I sprayed my basket silver and changed my pedals to silver ones too, for added silver effect!
Dottie: It is abit dangerous, for pedestrians more so. Cos most of the time they aren’t aware of a bicycle closing in on them, and despite me ringing my bell, they take about three seconds to react and they get a fright. I wish we had cycle lanes! But that would mean having some skill in cycling on the road + helmets (!!).
tweefeet: I know what you mean! Yes this bike allows you to slouch and all that, and the basket is my favourite part.
haz: Yes ebay! Hmm, shipping was USD$12, i think i got lucky this time. Usually shoes don’t ship for cheap, but you also know it depends on the seller/location. Keep trying!
Cutie photos! Have a great weekend.
cuuuuute bike!
I know everyone’s said this already, but I just had to reiterate: I love your bike!!
omg how many things did you buy from beacon’s closet when you came??
ahaha
when you said “gas station” i think i laughed out loud while reading your feed on the train.
i love your sandals, sooo fun for summer. and i am kinda jealous i cant ride the bike and get anywhere unless i wanna die.
xo
your bike is awesome! it reminds me of the iconic flying pigeon bikes… but it’s cooler. where’d you find it?
Chelsea: Hello, thanks and you have yourself a great weekend too.
amy: haha cuuuuute nephew!
miss a.: never mind saying it again, makes my bike happy.
gilda: haha, it does look gas station, no? hmmm, i bought less than 10 pieces, i didn’t really shop much elsewhere besides UO, you should do a shopping roundup of the city maybe, you have an outrageous wardrobe!
joyce:thanks! the sandals have been very enjoyable to wear. well i am very jealous of your surroundings, do you step out of your house and ta-daa, endless hills and nothingness?
Lisa: Thank you, i’m not sure what flying pigeon bikes are tho, but i got mine from a nearby shop. It had cheesy stickers saying “Picnic” all over it at first.
I love your blouse and your bicycle is adorable!
Oh, and blogging definitely did make me feel better! Thanks for the well-wishes.
I know this is absolutely silly, but what brand is the bicycle? Is the brand “picnic” ? or is it something else?
Hey Gloria, the bike came with stickers saying “Picnic” all over it, so i’m assuming it is the brand. Hmm, it’s prolly a ‘made in China’ sorta bike so i’m not too sure if you can get it where you are.
daaamn i really like that top. and your bike is friggin sweet!
yeah, me too, it’s one of my favs. =)
Reeeally nice bike – I have a really expensive and good racer bike which I won’t complain about, but you have to sit in so awkward a position, a total different story than these cool city cruiser !!!with basket!!!
I wish I could talk with someone while taking my own photographs, but mine are mostly self-timer and I do not want to capture me mumbling with myself.
I was raised on old films. My family didn’t really believe in television or anything more than PG, so old films were safe and reliable and plus–we just loved them. So I know more about old films, musicals, and the dramas of dead stars than I do about modern television shows and movies…
kirstie: thanks! she really is.
the_kitten: yeah racer’s are really painful-looking but they each serve their purpose. i use a self-timer too when i’m photographing indoors, but i feel a tad shy to plant a tripod when i’m outside so, my bf will have to do the clicking.
i love love love this. might be one of my fave photos of you ever!
jo: ohh!!
)))) thank you
