Accidental double exposure on the first photo there. I took these photos around Tiong Bahru and if you’ve been to Tiong Bahru bakery, you will recognize it in the last two photos. Been cafe hopping a bit the past week and a real standout was Henry Congressional (thank you Rachel!). I’ve also been hanging out at my mom’s house (housesitting) and got to cook a bit. I got to try some recipes I’ve bookmarked since forever, yay! Mmm, I made chicken cutlets, grilled cheese sandwich and avocado egg salad.
Apart from this, all my waking hours are spent either working or watching the Olympics or experimenting on new stuff for etsy, hopefully soon! And I took time out from all this to meet Jackie last week, I took some photos and I can’t wait to finish the roll and get it developed.

SUPERTREES! Yup, the newest most photographed thing(s) in Singapore right now. I haven’t been up to the skywalk, where the tiny people are in photos 2 and 3. Ran out of film after I snapped these. Haven’t been into the conservatory domes either. But I really like the boardwalk! I.tend.to.like.most.boardwalks.

This is half of Changi beach’s boardwalk. Fairly new, I think. To me, anywhere I haven’t been to must be ‘new’. Anyway, I am completely out of photos to share as I have failed day after day to go develop one roll. And that is because I have been so absorbed in reading 1Q84. But I finished it this evening and that makes me sad (because I liked living in the book) and happy (because life can go on again). Have you read it, did you like it?

The abandoned Neo Tiew Estate in Lim Chu Kang. My brother took me there about 10 years ago and I was so spooked out, I ran back to the car. This time, I was still a little spooked out but tried to snap a little here and there before letting creepy thoughts really get to me. The place isn’t haunted or anything, in fact our army boys train here, and lots of people come to explore this place too. I did a quick search and found this post to be really insightful. Such brave folks too, they actually ventured up the stairs and into the houses!!!
