The name is, Bianca
I made a trip down to Haji Lane earlier this week and popped by Bianca, a shoe shop. I got these pair of Dorothy-red maryjanes, thanks to the lovely people at Bianca, and they make me so happy. Mainly because maryjanes are shoes that i go weak for. Plus I very rarely find one in a classic cut so i definitely couldn’t let these go.
So Bianca’s really cool (I like that it sounds like i’m talking about someone), what i’m particularly fond of is how their shoes are sophisticated without the frills. No funny pattern that runs across your shoe just for the sake of. The inside of the shop is where you want to be on a hot day! The shop’s got this mood and all i could think of was Anna Sui. I’ll let the photos do the talking for a bit.
You should know that their designs are done in-house, and since exclusivity is always a good thing to have, they only produce limited pairs of each design.
I not only scored cute shoes at Haji Lane, on my way out i picked out two vests from House of Japan and i’m wearing one of them here.
Y’know, new shoes calls for outfits built around it. This vest was part of a Korean uniform. It’s houndstooth with little pockets. Maryjanes have a sense of innocence about it so i was trying to channel a school girl (or boy) outfit. I wish i had a panama hat to complete the look tho.
So drop by Bianca, 44 Haji Lane, Level 2! They update their collections every few weeks. And if you’re the kind who prefers to shop behind your computer screen, they made it possible here too.
