Some things that caught my eye at a Lasalle (grad?) show some months back.

Last night at 15 Minutes at Lasalle, we got to feel ten years younger; we were school kids in art class! Dove Go Fresh held a Soap Factory workshop where we cutglueddecorated our own Dove bottles.
Ashley & Jessica from MunkySuperStar
The art supplies came from Paper Market
The left one’s mine and Jessica’s masterpiece reads Smell Me!
Stephie making her final touches
Niki (awww)
There was this mushroom + arugula open face sandwich (not sure if it’s on the regular menu) that was so delicioussss. Which is what Stephie is eating in this photo. It was so well-seasoned, I was impressed and wanted to go on to devour the entire tray but decided to act like a lady.
I also learnt that I have huge nails
Jayden did rad things to his bottle but I marveled and forgot to take a photo of it, Nadnut and Pat Law
Gillian! of MunkySuperStar.
Also check out the first episode of Numbnuts, it’s HILARIOUS!
Had lunch at 15 minutes today, this nice cafe at Lasalle. I really liked the place, it’s big and cold (it’s been blazing hot here, BLAZING!!). The food didn’t disappoint, most places tend to be a let down, new establishments especially.
They serve sandwiches, pasta, pizzas, salads, they have one burger and fish&chips as well. Coffee’s cheap.
The wings were good for $3
Ben had fish & chips, there was a tinge of ginger in the fish – a little twist, good kind of twist
Spicy shrimp aglio olio for me!
Something was done right about this eatery, maybe it’s the spaciousness combined with food that pleases me. (I’m having this ‘moment’ right now whereby i like being in a huge space.) I also keep harping on how much bad food is out there so i get happy when i dine somewhere decent. Well i’m writing with the energy level of a granny so maybe my happiness isn’t coming through as much as i’d like but really, i like this place and i’m going back!!!!!
