I got my vespa two weeks back! Been a happy fool scooting around the island!
And eating my way into the East.
And owning a cashcard for the first time, what?!? right?
And getting pulled over at a road block the very day I got my motorbike.
And declaring the Jln Bahar exit on the PIE my bermuda triangle.

Days are fun now!

HELP JAPAN!

Please help in any way you can!

So far, I’ve supported the causes initiated by Hilda Grahnat and hello sandwich (who lives in Tokyo!!) and also donated to Singapore Red Cross via ibanking. Just today, they’ve have updated their website with more channels to donate – ibanking via OCBC/DBS/UOB, phone banking, however you prefer to do your banking!

There are a million other ways you can donate and do your bit to help. I ART U is keeping an updated page on artists/designers that are donating their proceeds towards relief efforts. Emi is selling her books and magazines on Facebook to raise funds (for local peeps hey!). Let’s do what we can!

COME ON AND LET IT OUT

Howdy! Some photos taken with an underwater film camera whilst frolicking in the sun sand sea of Phuket!

All of these were taken at Raya Island except pictures #3 & #4 (#3 is of the open sea while on the speedboat and #4 is of Coral Island (read: dead coral island)). Together with my brother and his friends, we rented a boat that took us to two beaches and some snorkeling. The snorkeling was mortifying for me! I kept feeling like Darth Vader was with me underwater, altho it was just me and my breathing, so it freaked me out a little too much. Raya Island is the most beautiful beach I’ve ever set foot on so I was really fucking bummed when I collected my other roll of film and found out it was all blank. I wanted to share photos of the beach so much, the whitest sand and umbrellas and beach chairs, P Diddy could have his white parties there (that’s how white it all was). Luckily, many thanks to Young, for being so bright and pointing out that there’s always Google!

Be back with more!

SUNBURNT SECRETS

I am off to Phuket for the rest of the week! My brother’s already there and he reported back that it’s crazy hot! So I’m gonna come home a brown cow.

I’m armed with three cameras and am pretty sure that’s a ton of beauty to see and snap of. (Phara, I should be able to finish up the camera once I get back!) In the meantime, I leave you guys with some photos from December and early January.

Green, much? Haha, the first half of it was taken somewhere inside Dempsey. When I went to see Sarah and eat her baked goods at the farmer’s market. Which was eons ago.

The second half is of Ben’s brother, Andrew. It was his P.O.P. (Passing Out Parade) at the Marina floating platform. In the midst of all the excitement, two families started arguing over blocking each other’s views or something like that. Emotions were running high and everyone wanted to see their son/brother/boyfriend march past the stands. It was funny! Sometimes it’s kinda nice to be in the background and observe instead of participate!
