I haven’t really spent time browsing thru Wardrobe Remix before and tonight i decided to take time to see what lovely outfits people pull together. Subconsciously i found myself keeping (Firefox) tabs of girls particularly in red or hints of open. So these are a few that i would like to learn a thing or two from.
emilie who? Love the scarlet on her lips, the miu miu bag (of cos) and she pulls off highwaisted jeans very well. Everytime i take a glance at the picture, her red lips are all i see.
the use of red here is just naughty to me, as you scan doozywhoop from head to toe, it does the “now you see it, now you don’t and now you see it again! “.
Two simple outfits yet there’s something to talk about, from _venusinfurs_. I really like her blouse in the second pic and how she turned a potentially dull combination around with a swirl of a red belt.
Striking use of fire engine red, fierce! But somehow the classyness of tweexcore’s houndstooth jacket plus the gold buttons balanced out the funkiness. I would timidly have gone with black or white tights cos it’s the most apparent. So i really like this one.
thenewclotheshorse did the complete opposite of the outfit above. Bright flowery dress and the cutest red ribbon toned down with black here and there.

I dropped by the BonBonBazaar at Raffles City Atrium (Level 3) yesterday cos my ex-company has a booth there. Vice and Vanity has a booth there too, right in front in fact so you can’t miss them. And this necklace that resembles a tutu caught my eye and i’ve been thinking about it eversince.
It’s called the Cait Collar Necklace and it’s part of their SS/08 collection. They come in four colours – black, white, grey and pink and you can browse thru them on their website. Needless to say it would instantaneously jazz up a neutral outfit. Silly me didn’t ask how much it costs, and they didn’t reflect it on the site either. Anyhow it’s pretty!
