This week was workworkwork quite abit, i can’t seem to remember much so i’ll skip that and tell you about POLADRIOD! It’s been going around but i was convinced to try when i saw it on Anja‘s blog. It’s the application i used to create these faux polaroids and it’s an experience in itself. Pretty amazing i have to say, but my boyfriend quickly dismissed it as easy to create – that’s the programmer in him talking. Go try it if like me, you’re unwilling to fork out money to buy film! Oh and it’s for Mac users only, as far as i know.

Pretend it’s about an hour earlier and i would tell you i just got back from cycling to town. The ride was tricky, switching lanes from left to right and right to left. And then we cycled home after a pint of beer – not a brilliant idea at all! I completely rammed into something and the Caucasian man next to me was very kind to laugh it off and told me to be careful. I’m don’t usually get so floaty after a pint but i don’t know what caused it, i always get very thrilled when we go cycling so maybe. Maybe, the two highs clashed.
My cat says hello! Also i think i’ll be posting quite a bit next week, so look forward!

I apologise if some of the pictures aren’t as good as they can be, i’ve been a tad lazy to take my camera out with me lately so some of the hazy ones are taken with the iPhone. I cannot wait for tomorrow evening to come so i can pop by the seamstress to pick up my dresses and my curtains! I had some friends and my mom&sis over this week… and i was all like, “oh but i don’t have curtains”. None of them cared about the curtains but i certainly still do. So come home to mama!

Thank you to the ones who shared some advice on how to make a house a home. I’m happy to say that we have settled in well. Everything is in place and a little cosy! We had our first guest yesterday and dang, we had no drinks in the fridge. So stocking up on Coke is on the list. If your tummy is a little hungry, be warned because there’s a whole bunch of food pictures coming right up (or should i say right down). I have been eating home alot, being home and wanting to be at home while i’m out as well. It is a phase right?
There’s one thing i’m iffy about and that is why isn’t cheese affordable here? Say a block of mozzarella or edam. Is there a cheese specialty shop here, where i can purchase any amount i want? I really want cheese on top of alot of my food so HELP (waves flag)!

I’ve never had a Sunday like today. Most Sundays don’t even exist because before you know it it’s Monday. In between almost being lured to buy a $6.90 plastic cup (but for good reason, it had this magical rainbow mist ‘thing’ going on on the base of the cup) to wondering if investing in a good chef’s knife is paramount to having to tell an old salesman there’s no way i’m gonna pay $138 for a digital hot water flask (??!! what about it needs to be digital seriously, he’s got to be kidding me), i’m coming to terms with spending money on nice kitchenware instead of my wardrobe. There’s tonnes of other ‘adult’ things to come to terms with as well but i’m definitely not gonna load it off here.
So perhaps at some point this blog would house more home-related posts, i hope everyone will enjoy it all the same. This week’s pictures are a weird bunch, well they never actually flowed but this week’s really seems all over the place. Haha, you tell me.
