I hope everyone has some reason to be jolly this holidays. I miss my brother and my mom so much although i didn’t tell them that. I have to get ready for Christmas dinner right now. The place we originally planned to eat at jacked up their prices to $168 per stomach which is brow-raising when that was what it cost for two stomaches last year!

I’m not sure how many of you read the livejournal community ohnotheydidnt – these people who post there often end a post with a ridiculously good animated gifs. And my boyfriend couldn’t stop laughing at this Sarah Palin one! So this gif-bug rubbed off on me and i made some of Saturday. Not funny ones though!
Last week was all about the christmas tree, meetings and nothing much else. Oh and this headache that never seems to go away.
I’m supposed to get into total-work-mode after this. I sure hope i do. I need to go out to look for a present and a dress for christmas. How’s your week and have you started on your christmas shopping?
Can i just express how pleased i am with this roll? Over the moon and under the stars i am!
This is the hunched-back uncle at Maxwell Market who runs this incredible Ham Jing Pang stall. (It’s a kind of snack made from flour). Plus you have a turn at frying your own, so that’s my boyfriend frying our share.

Anyhoo, one quick thing. I finally caught on with Twitter and i have my Twitter tweets on the side bar. Add me so i have more stuff to read, i have countable friends right now! I usually Twitt a few times a day, so even if i don’t update here, you can read the nonsense i have to say on the side bar or on Twitter itself. I want to say have a good weekend but it’s only Toosday, i’m in sucha swell mood can you tell?
My dear friend, Caili, came over for dinner Friday night. People have to come one by one or the most in twos because our tiny place just cannot hold more. Haha plus i always have to prep them by saying stuff like, “oh and you’d have to sit on stools” or “the cats go chasing each other around so beware”. The disaster i predicted didn’t happen although at 7pm i was still at the supermarket when i was expecting her at 9. The horror! Was all i could say in my head when i checked the time.
What’s for dinner? I don’t know my cuts very well but thank goodness the striploin we went with turned out well. Mushroom’s on the side. Baby spinach + avocado + turkey ham + tomato salad and some pasta for carbs.
So i learnt a few things after; buy toothpicks and more dinner plates.
