I couldn't get the hang of poetry
Thank you to vintage gaga for this necklace!
Check out my hamburger face! Ah, so it seems somehow I find myself on the list of one of the best dressed guests on the night of the Harajuku Street Style launch at Tangs. Despite my crinkled blouse, the famous street style photographer Rei Shito must have seen something worthy to snap about right? Though I have to admit, this is the best I’ve dressed up in a while. Long while. So I’m glad and honoured to have my photo taken by the lady.
The whole point of this post is to make you go vote for me, ha! I’d appreciate it.
So to make this an official outfit post, here’s the deets to what I wore:
Blouse with bows from Zipia, high-waisted shorts from Bettina Liano, jazz lace-ups from F-Troupe and vintage briefcase from clevernettle, hamburger face from too much McD’s.
I got down to making a heart-shaped bokeh lens hood in the afternoon so naturally I roam to where the bright lights are to test it out.

Check, it works

Hmm, yay!

Peter pan collar blouse from French Toast, Muji pullover, Forever21 shorts, flats from Studio Tang

I have a feeling my lens isn’t awesome enough to do more than this but we’ll see what I can figure out.

I apologise for all the indoor shots, it’s been raining and I’m a nightmare at having my photo taken out in public. Look at my face here, this is when I’m about to give up after a million takes. Splat the fat face!
Anyway I’m wearing my new shirt from onepintplease, together with my new Baggu Duck Bag! My friend, Beks, sent this shirt my way and I’ve actually worn it many times now and LOVE it – just had one too many failed attempts at photographing me in it. The bag is my current throw-it-all-in-bag. The size is perfect and it has a strap as well as handles! I highly recommend it, a chrismassy present maybe?
Nothing much is new around here, except that my bf is growing out a goatee and I bought cat-grass which I just planted (for my cats to munch on). How’s everyone?
Very early on Sunday morning (by my standards), I met Sarah to drop by Soon Lee to check out a new local label, Chalk. The incredible designer behind Chalk is Priscilla and I’ve known her since kindergarten through primary school! Her debut collection features girly dresses and some pieces ideal for office wear. Every piece is saccharine sweet and fun fun fun.

I really wanted the white dress in this photo but Sarah and I decided I would look like a tranny in it. I wish I was more of a lay-dy!

Here’s Priscilla in one of her own designs. Do go to her site and check out the entire collection! Or pop by Soon Lee, where her collection is available. {Hello hello to Sharon and Zann too!}

A cardigan from Soon Lee that both Sarah and I find cute
From Haji Lane, we made our way to CA California at Dempsey Hill.

Sarah’s unbelievably-real-looking headband

I had a Philly Beef Wrap

Because I took a photo of my outfit, I’m gonna shamelessly post it anyway. The dress is Laura Lees for Topshop, tights to hide my terrible bruises from floorball, vintage wingtips via ebay.
Lastly I want to welcome Sarah back to blogosphere! Her revamp is gorgeous and her photos inspiring as ever, go enjoy it!
