1AM at the park

There was this one night we were sick of being in front of our computers, so we headed to the park in the middle of the night to try flying our kite. The kite didn’t fly so well, my plan to read wasn’t so bright an idea and having passersby stare down at us only gave us more reason to cycle for supper instead! We tried to write a song and got stuck after two lines… haha, we’re probably never doing this again. Did you know “there’s a first (and last) time for everything” is one of my favourite lines?

{Photos were taken with a Canon EOS 66 using Fujifilm Superia 400}

    You guys are addicted to kite-flying, aren’t you? Haha.
    I didn’t learn how to fly one until I was in my late 20s.
    It was quite an amazing feeling when I finally got it to fly properly. xx

    the photos looked like you guys are having lots of fun and good night spent together, even though it’s the last time you’re going for night-kite-flying.

    Definitely looks like a great night! You know, I was at WCP on Monday, and spent most of the day just watching the kites in the sky, and my thoughts floated to you! I’ve never flown a kite, and I don’t think I could. It looks really hard :P

    Well, it definitely looks like you guys had fun, haha. At least you got some cool photos out of the excursion!

    Also, i should learn how to fly a kite. That’s what your blog is doing to me!

    I love going to the park at night. Nothing beats swinging on the swings in playgrounds on summer nights. I know you weren’t at a playground type park, but your post brought back good memories.
