I think I had enough of slide film for awhile. Sometimes I really hate the yellow hues on my photos. But I never remember what looks good under what kind of lighting and I kinda feel that would kill the whole point of taking photos if I were to be taking notes. So anyway, I bought a lot of Fujifilm Superia 400 and I’ll be using that for now.

expired film or not, i like these. the mushroom photos are pretty surreal and the second and third shots look so mysterious. i thought you used a color filter for your last four — they sure have character!

i haven’t figured out how to use the half/frame feature on the diana mini, or rather — i don’t know how many knobs to turn or when.. hmm..

thank you for the comment on my blog! I am excited to start shooting with the d.mini! i got the expired film as part of the gift as well.. does it make much of a difference as compared to regular film?

    Such lovely pics!

brian: @benhomie is pleased to hear that!

lauren: Expired film is simply unpredictable, in my opinion. I’ve had good and not so good rolls turn out. The graininess is always an issue. So try to shoot under awesome sunlight!!
