Last dinner of 2009

all set

The table’s all set, yes, mock my mismatched cups! We’re having a dinner party at our place tonight and we really only clean the house when people come over, we’re gross! I cross my fingers I didn’t over-salt the fish and that no cats jump onto the table. That dinner goes smoothly and we ring in the new year a little tipsy.

I don’t know what to make of 2010 being tomorrow. I had a good run this 2009 but I could do a lot better. The only resolution I’m making is to stick with running twice a week! I can do that, you can do that, Melly. What are some of yours? Maybe I could get inspired because I really don’t like to dig deep and think about these things.

So I’ll see you folks in 2010, a toast to the last day of the year, wherever you’ll be!  x

hahaha — we’re the same way, too. as a matter of fact, our house is currently littered with our pug’s hair and probably won’t vacuum until the next guest arrives, which is a rare even at that…

anyhow, your dining table looks fantastic. matching glasses and cups is a thing of the past. mix/match is totally in ;)

    happy new year to you!

ok, you’ve inspired me to not dig deep and just get my buff off and start running. i really should.

i wish you have a fruitful 2010, Melly. i’ve figured out that being fruitful is the most meaningful for anyone and everyone. it’d be crazy to wish for good things only. may we all bear fruit especially out of bad things that come our way.

    brace! :)

Haha, I used to clean only when people came over but then my mother in law would show up unexpectedly!!

Happy New Year, Melly! I agree with you, 2009 was a bit of blur, kinda meh, but I’m hoping 2010 will be better. My only goal is to take my thoughts to action. As in, if I have an idea, to do it and not dwell on it. Hope that makes sense!!

You can totally run 2x times a week! By the end of the year, if you keep it up, you should run a marathon :D

    Happy New Year, Melly!

I have those Revol cups too, did you get them from MoMA? I bought mine years ago in a little French shop in Singapore, I could only afford two — a big and a small one. In April I’ll buy more from MoMA in NYC!!!

Happy New Year! YOur new year’s resolution sounds fine to me. Mine is only to be happy and to work hard to achieve what I want. Oh and to be nicer and more tolerant of others.
ps Thanks for your lovely comments about me on Brinja’s blog :-)
