Actually,

I was reading Sarah’s blog and she’s going to Shanghai which in turn made me go to my Pictures folder and look at my photos during my trip there in 2007.

Well actually, i’m just finding an excuse to post so i can share that i’ve found a new and very nice place to move into! We viewed the apartment early this morning and gave a deposit, looked like eager puppies and tried to tell the agent a million times over that we love the place but there were other viewings lined up for the day so we had to wait and see. I was pretty much doozy-headed all day, waiting by my phone for good news. My heart hasn’t felt this much emotion in a while, i tell ya. The call finally came in the evening and now all we’re saying and thinking is we cannot wait to move, absolutely cannot wait!!

So i’m relieved house-hunting is over which means packing will have to commence soon (which is actually my favourite part). I move end of the month and i promise photos!

P.S. Rae & Tom Tuttle, i promise photos of no hair new hair soonest! x

i’m feeling very excited for you, Melly! the rental market’s quite good now, you think? as in, good for you and not the renter? lol. i’d think most people would hate the packing part. my friend was just lamenting to me she has about 40 years of memories to sort out – to buang or not to buang. that’s a big jar of mixed feelings, man. well i can’t wait to see your photos, hair or no hair!

That was quick! What luck, Smeowly! Whoopeedoo!

Can’t believe you love packing! I hate packing, moving and unpacking.
And don’t really enjoy being at the mercy of our landlord too – I’ve never lived anywhere that is not owned by my parents until I moved here and I feel insecure all the time, not knowing when the landlord might just decide to take the apartment back…it happened with our first one here. Grrr… x

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Glad it went down so smoothly! Cant wait to see pics. I thought moving was both stressful and exciting. New places are always good. Speaking of which, I REALLY need to go to Shanghai. I think there are only few places left I have yet to REALLLLLLLY go, and Shanghai is on that list quite on top!
