Disappointment.
7 out of 24 shots turned out, out of which only these were decent. These were taken using my Kodak Ektralite 10 with Agfa 110 film.

I just had to snap a photo of the negatives, this being my first time playing with 110 film. How tiny how cute how blank!!

ah you still have some great shots. the first one is v nice.
the holga 135bc was my first toy camera and i completely overestimated it and the iso 400 film i loaded in it. i think the whole roll save for maybe 2 - 3 shots was blank, and they weren’t even nice enough for uncle mike to bother to scan for me. second roll, i caused the it to snap while rewinding. i still keep the long curl of exposed film as a memento.
hope that makes you feel better!
Is the same roll to take photos of me… TO BE HONEST, im quite relieved if mine didn’t come out!! LOL. But hey mine was worse for my holga… one of out 16 shots!! Welcome to manual camera life. hahah
Figuring out analog cameras and film is killing me! Digital has really made me a fi;m noob.
But even though not all of your shots came out, the ones that did look great. I like the colours in the shots.
You did nice shots ! I love the first one & last one
ah i love 110 film! these photos are dreamy
My first roll of film was a failure but I’m still stubborn about wanting to get them right. I still like the pictures you took! I think they look really great.
These images are surely sentimental
I love the colours! And I agree with the rest, you do have lovely lovely shots there.
I just got me a holga 135 and i can’t wait to play with it soon.
wallflower: i snapped my film while rewinding too!! in HK at ocean park after riding a crazy roller coaster. i was so sure i had the most perfect roll of shots but no proof of that ever haha. i always love hearing film stories (:
Sarah: Yup it’s the same roll. The film got exposed cos one of my cats dropped the camera on the floor. Which i think is why so few photos turned out but it’s okay! Won’t be normal if my first roll from this camera came out perfect, i’d be cocky then lol.
Aurelia: Why thanks! I’m trying to do one roll of film a month, hopefully that’ll keep me from getting rusty every time i pick up my film cameras :]
lenny: first rolls are always destined for disaster, why oh why.
yann: you’ve got so much fun things going on, the new home + new camera!!
I was bloghopping and i came by your blog. Interesting entries and pictures you have here. (:
If you don’t mind me asking, did you develop your 110 film in Singapore? I haven’t sent mine for developing because i’ve only heard of this ONE place in Chinatown which still process them, and only b/w D:
hey Pw, i got them developed at Triple D at Burlington Square (beside Sim Lim). Costs $13 for developing + scans into a cd. It’s the (only) Fujifilm store facing the main road {:
Man, you know what? I think those shots you took are really beautiful. I guess photographers and other artists will always be their own harshest critics but for an outsider like me…
I do think they’re gorgeous. I haven’t shot with film since I was a little kid and that was before digi cams came in haha not too sure what the professional cameras with film would be like…Is it difficult?
