Sew it seems;
when i don’t have my working bone raring to go, my first thought is to pick up something to alter. I got this top at Beacon’s Closet in Williamsburg. I loved that place so much, we first went to the Brooklyn outlet and i went, “Oh i am in heaven, i’ll try to be quick” to my bf. A few days later we went to the Williamsburg one and it was almost 5x bigger. My eyes beamed and in spite of me always trying to be quick, when i was done, he was asleep on the couch at the entrance.
I wore this out last night but it was way too big despite me belting it up. So i bought some (sewing) chalk on my way home and attempted to go from SuperSizeMe to FitMe. I cannot wait for the day to come when i have the courage to sew something from scratch. There are so many talented ladies out there who do their thing so well and they really inspire me. It’s just that they have the talent in their nimble fingers and they see clothing in some form of structure i’m sure.
I can’t help but feel warmth whenever i think of how everyone’s own thing can inspire someone else.
