Real Simple
I tried this recipe this evening and dinner was let’s just say… fulfilling.
These are from Alexander McQueen’s SS/05 collection. I had a close look at the two pieces that resemble American football attire at the Superheroes exhibition at The Met. The top left one has beautiful Jap-inspired waves as part of the design, something like those you see in Japanese tattoos. The waves are always at the back of my mind now and i’m waiting for the day i can have them tattooed on my lower calves.
It’s a pity i couldn’t find an enlarged image of it. So while searching, i browsed through the rest of the collection and i really adore the whimsical, carnival feel the clothes exude. There’s like a role behind each outfit, The Princess, The Footballer, The Walking Carpet, The Human Carousel, The Schoolgirl…
Putting the tape i got from the MoMa to use! I hope the girl receiving it will grin at it as much as i did.
instead of starting on my work right after breakfast, i decided to hem a dress i got at Kensington Market and fix some holes as well. So now it gets to be hung with all the other dresses.
Vintage dress: Kensington Market

Some time this week i also cut my fringe and dyed my hair a darker shade of black. Makes me like my hair a little bit more.
I saw this and my heart skipped a beat,
maybe because i’m missing my brother a tad too much.
